I came across an old article in Bookbub blog about Tess Gerritsen’s 9 book recommendations. As she is my literary heroine, I decided to check her list to which ones I have already read and if any has caught my interest to include in my reading list for 2017.

I know we are halfway to the year already however, as I have been terribly busy with this new move to the UK and of completing my examinations, I believe I will only be starting my book list now. But any other bibliophile will always say there’s no perfect time to start on a good book.

These are Gerritsen’s picks. Which ones have you read?

From her list, I’ve only read two; The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory and JRR Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings.

I’ve read the synopsis of the books she recommended and is enchanted to start reading them. One in particular that I am most looking forward to is Ink and Bone by Lisa Unger. There are mixed reviews on the book in Goodreads but majority are good ones that has convinced me to start off with it.
